New Patient Information

When you enter our office our staff will welcome you as a member of the Mountain Park Chiropractic family. We will request that you complete our new patient forms to provide us with your health history and information on your condition.

Consultation

Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Picarello to discuss your problem, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Picarello to learn more about you, your condition, and your expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.

Examination

After your consultation, Dr. Picarello will perform a complete chiropractic exam which will include testing your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed however, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

X-Ray Studies

Depending on your unique situation, Dr. Picarello may want to take X-rays to further assess your health and to help develop the most effective treatment plan for you.

Report of Findings

Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, Dr. Picarello will talk to you about his findings. He'll answer any questions you may have and discuss the course of action to get you back to your best health. Dr. Picarello may feel it's important to refer you to other professional health care providers for additional evaluation or testing.

Treatment

At the conclusion of your initial appointment, your treatment may include spinal adjustments, physical therapy, and/or soft tissue therapy.

After Your Visit

Dr. Picarello may make recommendations about how you can help yourself at home which may include activity limitations, diet changes, stretching and exercises for your unique health condition. If follow up visits are necessary they will be scheduled with you before you leave our office.
